We are looking for a passionate and creative Puppeteer Assistant to join our dynamic team dedicated to delivering captivating puppet performances. During performances, you will support puppeteers by managing backstage activities, coordinating puppet changes, and ensuring smooth transitions between scenes. You will also assist in rehearsals, helping puppeteers practice movements, dialogues, and interactions to perfect their performances. Your role will involve collaborating closely with directors, stage managers, and other production team members to ensure the artistic vision is successfully executed.
The Puppeteer Assistant will also be responsible for maintaining an organized inventory of puppets, props, and costumes, keeping track of their condition and availability. You will assist in sourcing materials and supplies needed for puppet creation and maintenance, ensuring timely procurement and cost-effective solutions.
